If the Paris Olympics has shown us anything this summer, it’s that romance isn’t dead.
Mondo Duplantis is the best pole vaulter of all time — and he’s only 24. He was born in America but competes for Sweden because it’s his mother’s home country. His performance in the Paris Olympics on August 5th, was the ninth time that he’s broken his own pole vault world record. He is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and the men’s first pole vaulter to win back-to-back gold medals since Team USA’s Bob Richards in 1952 and 1956.
Mondo’s girlfriend, swedish model Desiré Inglander, has been by his side long before he took home his second gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics
The couple first met at a 2020 party in Stockholm during Sweden’s iconic holiday Midsummer.
